What you're dealing with isn't a dieter, it's a snivelling loser who thinks anyone above a size 14 is 'fat' and has been content all of their lives to stuff crap in their mouths because they 'can't gain an ounce'... Then middle age has hit and now they've realised they can get more attention/victimise others by hopping a fad diet.

I did strict Atkins - meant I had to phase unprocessed carbs and beans in after 3 months - as it was the only way I could figure out WHAT was making me tired/sleepy after eating and a whole variety of not nice things that got worse after I'd done 6 months on Orlistat (which my doctor all but stuffed down my throat as he had government obesity targets to meet and fucked up my body even more). Losing weight and me, I know means 3hrs a day MINIMUM of exercise 'cause most days I barely get 1,500 calories down, and in the days when I had to walk 3 miles to school/5 to college and do all manner of physical stuff for an hour a day when I got there - I didn't lose a pound.

What REALLY bloody irritates me are diet trolls who whine about MY size costing THEM tax money (and being EVIL to look at) while sobbing into a box of chocolate eclairs that they're an unhealthy-fat 10/12, when most of 'em have never done a day's exercise since they left school.

I do feel your intolerance and the dislike of pre-pack fill up stuff. If the choice is a McDs & box of pre-packaged cakes OR plate of soya beans, peas and grilled chicken with homemade dessert - I'll take the latter any time. I just live on microwave stuff atm, as I don't trust my cooker. It was Mumsie's choice and I hate the bloody thing. New house - new cooker - BRING IT ON!
