huh.

Went jogging this morning, in an attempt to start me on the campaign of getting fitter and also reducing the jiggly bits. (my definition of toned/fit = the wobbly bits should not move that much, or at least pull so much when actually exercising.)

However, seeing as I don't have a watch, but from previous experience know how long it used to take me to get to certain stages, it appears I'm fitter than I thought. Previous attempts to re-start jogging after a break of, oh, nearly two years, have normally ended up with me in pain and puffing greatly by the time I got to the lock, which is the ten minute mark. this time? Had developed a bit of a stitch by Mapledurham drive, which wore off, but wasn't puffing by the time I got to the lock. And managed a fair portion of the way back. :scratches head: I'm pretty sure the fact that I'm thinner than I used to be last time I did this can't be the reason, and the only exercise I currently do is the 20-25 minutes' walk each way to work (with added two hundred yard dash in the morning portion).

Course, tomorrow I'll probably wake up in agony, but fingers crossed for keeping it up until at least Discworld. By which time it ought to have had some effect in the calorie and flab-burning and toning sections.
