Hurrah! Someone else who loves the music.I liked it when I watched it the first time, and this just reminded me how much. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it in a series, it has the potential to be fantastic, if they don't balls it up.

All that you mentioned - the sounds, the desperation etc, that's stuff I saw mentioned in a review in the Independent about it, pointing out that that all added up to make it so much better than the original and, well, a lot of other stuff with big explosions that just wouldn't happen.
