Yeah, I was always nervous, especially at night, when I visited Wood Green. Camden's a lot busier, which means less danger from random muggings/rapings on side streets. I know people who have lived in/near Camden and they liked it. If the place is on a fairly busy street, go for it. Just be careful with the shopping, it can get out of control.
