Huh.

Hrrm. Well, aside from getting soaked in the monsoon today...

Went docs to get registered. Was informed would have to make separate appointment with a doctor to get prescription for pill, so that was two times getting the 134 up to Kentish Town today. :joy: (it's one long traffic jam no matter what time of day I've taken it) However, in the getting registered, it's basic details - height, weight, do you smoke, blood pressure. It was pointed out that apparently my blood pressure is a little high. The lower number was 93 when it should've been 90 or lower. Got the appointment for 5pm, went to see doctor. Who took it again... and now the lower number was 98. Combined with the fact that my period had dropped to about half a day for the past few months, doctor has told me I'm off the pill for a month, which is when I'm next due in for another check of the blood pressure with the health assistant.

Most odd. Lissy reckons it might be because I've been a bit ill, but we'll see in a month. Never had it commented on before, so I presume it used to be normal. Unless it was one of those things your GP never tells you about because it's normal for *you*, and they've known you for years and have several years' worth of medical records in front of them. On the other hand, the blood donor people never commented on it either, so that's probably a better indication.
