Pilates not bad: was doing it on Monday evenings for a few weeks last year before new job's hours got in the way. Much of the moves appear to have found their way into other exercise regimes, so we were doing stuff and I was going 'oh, this is just like the stuff we were doing at *foo*'.
What I got last year (and finally got around to putting up) were the mounting brackets for a pair of hook boots and a bar; dangling by your ankles from a bar attached to the doorframe is actually not too hard on the back, you can stretch and twist and inverted situps are pretty effective on the abs; the only downside (apart from looking silly) is the temptation for clanwilliam to treat me like a pendulum.
