I thought it wasn't a coincidence that both the girls that were in the Saturday sing-off (Lauren and Jennie) were singing Sondheim songs. Both possibly too emotionally complex for the girls and the voters? Not sure.

Also, Jess was stitched up, given the patter song and running out of breath. It's a shame that Lauren doesn't appeal to the public, but she'll have a career anyway. It definitely looks like they are trying to edge Danielle into the role but I'm not sure they'll succeed...
