The Best Mispelling. Ever.

You know all those bloody mispellings of viscous and vicious? Well, I found one to top them all.

There I was, happily reading a first time Due South fic (one true pairing, Fraser/Kowalski) which was pretty good, and they were in the middle of some fairly decent, plausible sex and.... this hit me.

felt Ben's sock buried inside of him

possibly the only thing I thought never to appear in the middle of sex. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the sock. May its like never be seen again.

And was it argyle, woollen, or a poly-cotton mix with 4% lycra to make it stretchy? Or, heaven forfend, a nylon sock (ugh)?

well, she didn't give details, but considering they were somewhere just south of the arctic circle and had been travelling for several days...

I'm guessing a Mountie sock, probably woolen as it was sub-zero temperatures and very thick. And taking into account the several days travelling - probably a rather smelly one.
