Last night and resolutions

burntcopperLast night was usual round of silly games, talking bollocks, drinking and grazing the buffet. Traditional stuff and enjoyable. Also dazzling array of costumes - Ozzy Osbourne, Genie + Aladdin, Tina Turner, Princess Leia, Queen Elizabeth and Raleigh, Some bloke who sells Salmon, Scottish Widow, Britney Spears, Madonna, Tinkerbell and Cinderella, Cleopatra, Obligatory Classy Bond Girl, Samuel L Jackson, Harry Potter, Madhur Jaffrey, Castro, Kat from Eastenders, Minnie Mouse, Clint Eastwood, John Culshaw, Liza Minelli, and Lee Van Cleef. :deep breath:
Special mention goes to Castro, who originally turned up as Bloke From Next Door, but went home, did a quick change and turned up on the doorstep puffing a cigar and looking fantastic. Lee Van Cleef was originally Clint Eastwood, but we decided he'd make a much better baddie.
Resolutions for the year :
Start jogging again. on a regular basis this time.
Get better posture (working on it right now)
Figure out what exactly it is I want to do as a job. The only thing I know I don't want to do is generic office work, as it drives me up the wall.
Get websites, video/dvd and comics collection in order. Ebay will be heavily involved in the last two, especially vid/dvd as I replace them.
Achievements of the past year :
Losing weight and being happier in my own skin. Hotpants are not just for those with stick-thin legs.
Yes, I went months without work, but have discovered that I'm damn good at some stuff, and one of those points is sales and customer service.
A slightly nattier wardrobe.
Getting started on the comics clear-out.
