Men, and other fictives

Tall, dark, and RUGGEDLY handsome!
Just took this test. How true. And scary, considering this post was going to be about the conversation we had on the way back from Spider's (see blogger) about 'what kind of person do your Mary Sues/avatar when writing original fic end up with'.
Meg ends up with Faiths : bitchy, punk, dykeadelic. (includes pretty much any Clea Duvall character...) And Merry/Pippin types on the male side. Cute and chatty.
I, on the other hand, am almost exclusively a Sharpe/Aragorn whore when it comes to fictives. They're often the taciturn type, good at fighting, not always broody, thankfully, often in to the 'treating sex as sex and not any sign of adoration and love me forever'. Though sometimes good at the wry humour thang. Am just wondering if this is actually my subconscious inserting my dream bloke or what. If so, this is slightly disturbing as I like people who can banter, not the damn strong economy of words type! However, looking over fic over the years am informed that this character appearing is inevitable. Dammit. Well, at least they're nearly always rugged and cute. And I don't know why! Stubble burn is fecking terrible! Must contemplate kicking subconscious occasionally to provide my avatars with chatty, cleanshaven boyfriends. Meg in bg, snorting : And I'll be a monkey's uncle! Oook.
Day 3 : Meg trying to kill me to get me off the computer. Stupid Meg.
