Turns out one of the local network cable lines in my area has been severed, which includes my 'net line. Fortunately have parents sitting around unused, but no aim or downloading anything til thursday at latest. Sulk and sulk again, my brothers.

On the other hand, OZ is heating up nicely - me see Mondo is so going down for touching Toby, and Ryan killing Keenan for Gloria you could see possibly coming, but still. :sigh: me heart tom Fontana.

oh, and [livejournal.com profile] dolores? I love you I love you I love you. It came in the post. mwah!

Six Things People Probably Don't Know About Me
1. Queen of drunken twister and fastest spinner when I get going.
2. I used to have a terrible problem of looking anyone who was older or of percieved higher status than me in the eye, due to being born in Jakarta and certain of the habits ingraining themselves. For instance, I have *no* personal space.
3. My parents never had to worry about weaning me. I nicked my brother's apple and his cup of orange juice on a flight to England.
4. Belonged to the My Little Pony Club for three years as a child.
5. Made in San Francisco.
6. Hangovers don't exist in my family.

Five Hobbies:
1. web design
2. writing
3. heckling films
4. jogging when I can be arsed
5. history

Four Injuries I Still Remember
I was accident and scar prone as a child. This would be more interesting if it was injuries I *didn't* remember. The list is short, as my memory for pain is long.
1. Kicked my brother in the teeth in the swimming pool at a hotel in Germany. He had train tracks. Allll the way up my shin. One of several swimming pool injuries I have - diving into a pool, not doing a shallow dive and thus hitting the bottom nose first. Not getting out of the way of the slide in time after I'd come down it, turning round and getting the full force of a young bloke coming down it backwards, at speed.
2. Sitting on a bus, reading a new book of my brother's I'd filched from him. Crash. Searing line of pain across the top of my head. Delayed shock until I felt something warm trickle down the side of my face and hit the book. Stood up, hit extremely high note. Turned out a branch had smashed the window, taking a portion of the roof with it, scraped my head, the resulting blood utterly soaking my school uniform. Think Carrie. As a result of this, I freeze and go white anytime a branch bangs against a bus window when I'm on it.
3. Scar on my elbow from playing kiss chase in infants and slipping on the tarmac as we went round a corner. Couldn't get stitches or even a plaster as the nurse's office was locked and no-one could find her.
4. The gun turrets at Verdun look like giant iron mushrooms. They have very sharp edges at knee height. I'm pretty sure I can lay claim to being one of the very few walking wounded casualties of Verdun of this generation. Got the cut bandaged up at an old concentration camp town, of all places.

Three People I Met Online Before Meeting Them In Real Life (in order of meeting them)
waaay too many, here....
1. [livejournal.com profile] soulstar. Started with her. It's all her fault, y'know. Atch, it's Ragna's, but we don't talk about that in polite society.
2. [livejournal.com profile] megolas
3. [livejournal.com profile] obsessedmuch, [livejournal.com profile] katemonkey, Tairis (killkillkill), charley, Barry, [livejournal.com profile] dolores, [livejournal.com profile] faithtastic, Russ, [livejournal.com profile] naughtyspirit, luna, noxy, Wendi, vanessa, Vicky... the list goes on.

Two People You Truly Dislike. They Must Be Someone You Know.
1. my last boss. Petty and vindictive as hell.
2. Tairis. Must. Cleanse. in. Acid.

One Thing I'm Truly Proud Of.
Not understanding the concept of shame or shyness.
