costuming and sites

Right. Planning costumes for South, aka Nerdcon. List of bits I need/don't have :

(Villain/Hero) Maid marian - found a lace-up front top, exactly the right style. They've just started doing the square medieval front rather than victorian/gypsy. See me bounce. Now I just need leather cuffs and a longbow. The longbow is the problem...

(Comic/Cartoon) Jenny Sparks - Got everything. Have cream trousers, not obsessive enough to spend money on white trousers.

(Uniform) Sod this. Shall go as Cabaret/Chicago style instead.

Site - It's Been Emotional is mostly done, just trying to write more essays on Gunn, Wes and the relationship, then I can submit it to the Guild. Gah.

Just watched Moulin Rouge on wall projector with surround sound at Steph's. Gorgeous. However, come home and parents suddenly start complaining about the suede waistcoat I'm wearing saying I'm showing too much off. They are a)Drama queens about this and b)would only be satisfied if I was wearing a trenchcoat, and telling me "You just have to be an exhibitionist, don't you Heather?"

Sometimes? I want to kill them. You'd think they'd have noticed that I've been wearing low cut since I was a sodding kid.
