Eeeeee! Have job! Me start at Virgin Megastore on thursday - had the interview at 10am, then got called at 2 to say I'd got it.

Saw 28 Days Later. Meep. Fucking scary, suspenseful, intelligent and... gah. No apocalypse diseases for me, thankyou. Though they did point out something interesting; if the UK did get a rampant virus, it would be damn easy to quarantine from the rest of the world.

Am faintly pissed off. Our house has to be the most annoyingly located of all for fireworks night, even though it's on the highest point of road. You can hear loads of bangs, and see the occasional flash of fireworks, but all the fireworks themselves are behind the houses. grr.
