sod it, on the bandwagon...
Nov. 23rd, 2002 11:07 pmJust watched part 1 of the BBC's adaptation of Daniel Deronda. (Heather will now do the period drama dance that was so disappointed by Tipping the Velvet and has been languishing since The Forsyte Saga) Dear god, it's complex, it's nasty, and I think I must read some George Elliot books because of it. Utterly, utterly fabulous as well as having fucking fabulous photography and costuming. Andrew Davies' best yet since Pride and Prejudice - oh, and unlike P&P, they've really made it look like none of the cast is wearing makeup. v. good, I salute you, costume department.
Anyway, the bandwagon. Icons and what they say about moi.
This would be the fascination with the suave and powerful; I tend to go for the ambiguous and evil bastards.
Door from Neverwhere because a lot of the time I'm not in sync and I'm the weird girl who says strange things; that's been pretty much my label throughout life.
Kylie because at heart I'm a person who cannot stay off the dancefloor.
Sean Bean, (droooooool, Dol made this for me as he knows my weakness for this man) and this is about me delivering the smackdown and feeling superior.
I want to blow up the world at times; is this so bad?
Catwoman, in seductress and total confidence mode. My two idols were always Catwoman and Miss Piggy, and Cats is for those times when I'm feeling like I've got the cream and I can rule the damn world. Oh, and damn sexy.
The 'don't you even fucking dare' icon. I don't really have a pissed off icon, but this is the don't cross me one. The 'I'm feeling fuckin' bolshie today' one.
Anyway, the bandwagon. Icons and what they say about moi.
