Stuff

Right. Gone post office to get driving licence sent off and also to post a few comics, applied for a job (which I hope like hell gets there by 9am post on Friday), helped tidy up a bit - (spare room, cleaning of bathroom) as have person of Australian nationality coming to stay for a week.

Did last minute checking of costumes for Ascendant (Dina Meyer's cancelled. Grrrrr. Only person I actually knew there, and was really looking forward to seeing her. Honestly. Exactly how is flying from US - UK dangerous? The fighting's going on in Iraq, not westernmost Europe.) Went 'fine, fine, oh dear god, legs :crawls up in ball and whimpers: and then stuck the Cellblock Tango Chicago Twenties costume on. Looked. Went 'oh, no *way*' and decided to haul out red dress of Jessica Rabbit-ness (will do fine for most any era of swanky clubbing) and take Cabaret outfit as back-up. Shall get suitable jewellery tomorrow. Nothing else to report except that my internet connection is a tad wonky.
