Oh god, just thought. Aside from the costume worries (hoping like hell the leotard arrives tomorrow so can get cloth from John Lewis), parents arrive back on Sunday. Meaning I have to get hoovering done, tidy up house slightly, make their bed and get all the bloody data entry done, which I've been avoiding all week and have only done dribs and drabs today. ergh.

Feedback law of inverse talent

For some reason, in the past month or so, I've been getting a load of feedback on my fic series that're archived at other sites. Specifically, the stuff I wrote during my most prolific phase, post season 3 of Buffy. The Robin Hood crossover and the Hellblazer crossovers that I never finished. Sheer unadulterated tripe, those, almost as bad as the songfic. The stuff I got the 20+ pieces of feedback for each new bit. So I've been writing polite notices back along the lines of 'Thankyou for the feedback, and no, these will never be finished even if hell freezes over and Vishnu goes bowling in Staines.' and beating my head against the wall wishing they could be deleted from the web. Except I'd never ask an archivist to take down fic, because it looks whiny, and it ws their decision. Oh well....
