Sentinel and other stuff.
Aug. 4th, 2003 10:48 pmThere needs to be more random patting of Blair on the head and cheek by Jim, as well as Jim's 'isn't he so *cute*?' expression directed at our Sandburg. Mind you, considering he gives Blair the 'isn't he so *cute*?' at least once an ep these days, we'll sponsor more touchy feely Jim. Oh yes. And wet, muddy hurt!Blair. I appear to be developing a fetish about Wet!Blair. As well as whiny Blair and Bouncy Blair and Cop Regulations!Blair, oh and the Blair of this episode which was 'Don't be fucking stupid, Jim, you're not leaving me behind in this wilderness trek in search of psycho heavily armed criminal' Blair. I love Jim as well, but Blair is incredibly cute.
Speaking of Sentinels, the bunnies got hold of my hand during the exceedingly boring insurance ads and ambulance-chaser ads and proceeded to do a plot line of Wolfram and Hart purposely turning Gunn into a Sentinel, or at least awakening the dormant abilities in him to their full potential. It was the big Kitty in the White Room. I couldn't help it. It got me the first time I watched the ep.
Which of course means I have to have Lorne wandering in while Wes and Blair are poring over the recent observations, arcane knowledge and so on while Gunn stands over in a corner looking *damn* cool in a hellishly expensive suit and going "Sweetcheeks, two cute white brunette geniuses with glasses wasn't enough, you had to get yourself a third?"
Darla deaaaad! Whaaaaaaaaaaa! [Yes, I know this happened last year, but it's the first time I've seen that ep]
Firefly was a lovely, lovely whore-ridden ep. Jayne and his crude self! Kaylee wondering whether boy whores service womenfolk! Simon admitting he'd never been the primary on a birth, Inara saying it was her first too, then River piping up from the side 'Mine too.'
Best dialogue :
'Tell me I'm pretty, Wash.'
'If I were not wed I would take you in a manly fashion right now.'
'Cos I'm pretty?'
'Cos you're pretty.'
Plus :
'This here's Jonah. Say hi to your daddy, Jonah.' :blows utter bastard away: 'Say bye to your daddy, Jonah.'
And that is just awwwww.
I can't believe they cancelled this show. And didn't show the last three eps. Who doesn't like whorehouses? Or Richard Burgi being mean? Or Nekkid Mal?
