Just had interview for Jessops, should know by the end of today. Here's hoping. Should really finish the data entry by the end of today, otherwise Dad might be a bit peeved.
Usual mix of okay and inane questions, plus that 'where do you want to be in five years?' one. Which did get me thinking. Because mostly, yours truly is kind of rudderless. There's things I'd like to do, but don't have the qualifications, and there's others I don't have the first idea how to go about. What's frustrating is when I mention certain ideas to parents - the occasional 'what are you going to do with your life, Heather' thing - and they shoot me down, saying I wouldn't be suited, sometimes on the most stupid reasoning, like 'you wouldn't be able to conform clothes-wise.' I sit there flabbergasted, unable to point out that I work in retail, which requires a uniform dress code half the time.
Current thinkings :
Paramedic
Police
Forensics
GCHQ or something.
