That's it, I'm succumbing
Oct. 26th, 2003 09:39 pmFinally getting off my hiney and making the fic portion of Be Seeing You efiction-ised. It's official, I hate archiving, so auto-ness only makes sense...
Though I doubt I'll do a header graphic for the fic portion. Not really necessary, as the rest of the site is all about the content...

megolas, Exterminating Willikins the Butler). Pretty good, not as good as Pulp Fiction, but on the other hand we're waiting for part two. Scenes to love : Go-Go, the whole first chapter, and the Okinawa Bar. Especially the arguing and sake conversation. However, going by this film, I think they definitely could've trimmed it down to one film if the other is similar - there were some scenes that were definitely extraneous. For example, the multiple flashbacks to the wedding carnage - stick with the sheriffs, Bill, and the shot establishing the Vipers. O-Ren's cartoon background. Pretty, but not actually needed - we didn't get anything more on Daryl Hannah's and Copperhead's past, and they were fabulous. Just a quick comment and the council scene would've been enough. Also, the whole hospital waking up/getting into the car scene. Not really needed, because we'd established that she'd woken up from the coma, we'd had the shot of her in the coma in Daryl Hannah's bit - none more required. So if the second's anything like the first, there'll probs be more extraneous scenes that would prove that the two could've been on slightly longer film.
Oh, and the soundtrack? Is of the *gods*. Say what you like about Tarantino, but the man knows how to put a soundtrack together.
