Things done today...
Jan. 27th, 2004 05:14 pmwell, plus the weekend, Saturday night of which me and Laura and Steph spent at Nino's then watching part of Chamber of Azkaban.
Let me tell you, it's seriously weird having day off-work-day off-work-day off. Fortunately it seems to be settling down again next week with my day off on monday.
Things done today? Er. Driving lesson, mooching, cut cloth for toga dress - sunday was spent looking at the possible pattern for the Eowyn dress and going 'errrrrr'. Tors, you're right, Burda is bloody weird in its fittings. Need cloth for the Tink dress, and if no driving lesson next monday I'll be going to Camden to look for fake leaves and such for it. Oh dear god, I'm going to need hundreds. Fricking loads. Even if I only do them spaced a bit. Debating whether I really need a wig for Ghost as it's not like anyone'll really know her, and the hair'll be covered with a sheet and scarf. Also need to make leggings and boot covers for that. Also need to think of some others for Hyperion and Fusion, as I've looked at their choices and gone 'fuck off'. Especially to the Back to School idea. I hated it the first time, Sean. The Cabaret outfit may be getting another go, if not the Black Canary. I'm hoping to do the Eowyn for Fusion, but hoping like hell I manage to master it and a sewing machine in time. The one I was hoping to borrow has a bent needle, but it looks like I'll be spending the next couple of evenings figuring out my gran's old one.
Going to Tapas bar tonight.
