Up to eyebrows in tulle. One petticoat down, several to go. Also one egg down, one orangutang (wrongly mis-labelled monkey - ooook? - by Thorntons) to go. Have been watching Prince Caspian and The Silver Chair. Terribly cute, Effects - well, it was the 80s, so shush. Damn cool any monster/animal that didn't require special effects, though. Aslan's damn impressive, and I vaguely remember a Blue Peter where they showed how Aslan was made, and from what I remember, it's mostly clay. Or at least that was what they made the cast from. Reepicheep walks on, and I automatically go 'Warwick Davis *again*? I can't escape from this actor, I really can't.' As usual, get a tad irritated with CS Lewis' writing and sermonising, but am mostly sitting here with a fond smile on my face. Ah, wallowing in childhood comforts. And raising an eyebrow whenever Peter and Caspian do something rather gayer than I remember. Maybe it's the public schoolboy-ness of them. Edmund, on the other hand, is my darlingest favouritest damn-why-can't-you-be-older-then-I-could-molest-you Pevensey. (I'm going to ignore the voices that point out that book Edmund is gayer than a gay thing) Interesting, though, going through imdb and finding that most of the kids in this didn't do any other acting.

Just remembered something from one of the girly talks in the loo at Nos - what happens when everyone in the conversation is fandom, therefore you are all on the same wavelength and have the same reference points. It's most amusing. Even more so when it's girly talk. Specifically, about the barman's bum. Yes, I'm quite serious.
'You should see it, it's nicely shaped, it's *insert various adjectives here*, it's -'
'Krycek bubble butt?'
Cue everyone falling about with laughter before agreeing that yes, it's a perfect description. The world needs more descriptions like this.
Second petticoat has been fully pinned.
