Hum

Sitting here in most of the Princess Bride dress - have to do collar and sleeves and zip (which I can't do til I've done the collar), but the main part of the dress is done. And this red so doesn't suit me. Mind you, it didn't suit Robin Wright back then, and she's got my colouring, so at least I'm being accurate to the film.

Cannot find a shirt dress. Bugger. shall have to make one somehow.

In other news, I'm going *gulp* at Nightwing #93. As in 'sitting there for a good ten minutes staring'. I need to re-read it. And then get round to reading the rest of my mound of comics.

Take a look at this report. Smoking doesn't just poison the lungs of you and those around you. This report focusses on the farmers and marketing being done in third/second world to try and increase consumption.

Everyone's heard of the scandalous amounts sugar and coffee farmers make, which is why we have things like free trade. Tobacco farmers make even less, and the sugar and coffee farmers don't as a rule get poisoned by their own product just from touching it, never mind the pesticides/fertilisers and the rate of soil depletion by the crop itself. And then there's the deforestation issues, as the tobacco manufacturers insist on the leaves being cured over wood fires.
