Feb. 9th, 2005 07:10 pmMost odd today. Got called up by my mum, computer systems tech guru supreme for tech support. Apparently they'd purchased an ipaq and were running into some basic problems. Mum going 'look, I'll just hand you over...' Cue me blinking and then having to do tech support for people who make their living ont his stuff.
Saw Serenity, the unfinished version last night. And wanna see again! Again! We have to wait nine months! Suffice to say it is Joss at the top of his game, and it's amazing. Had a letter from Joss read out at beginning, and UIP rep seemed a tad scared at facing so many acolytes. Mwhahaha. Audience response varying between laughter, 'awww' and :flinch:. UIP minions seemed to be pleased. Had Liz with us, who has never seen Firefly (cue screams of 'heretic! burn her!') and is therefore perfect guinea pig for the rest of the country who will also have no idea about the characters. She loved it and has now requested Firefly dvds off us. Also the security bloke who was frisking us all for mobiles snuck in the back and enjoyed it immensely.
