fic blather
Mar. 11th, 2005 12:45 amaka 'I have too many original bunnies in my brain and would like some fandom ones that did not involve the original ones barging in there and either sneering on the sidelines or killing people to actually get off their arses and inspire me.'
But seriously, I am feeling grumpy in the direction of some fandoms.
BSG is fine. BSG provides damn good fic on the strength of 13 eps and one miniseries. Hang out on the fic communities and expect to get at least 95% good, if not damn good fic. Though I do find it amusing that there is very little slash on there yet. Slash happens in the background in the washroom. But c'mon, people, where is the Gaeta love?
Lost I have no real desire to read fic about. The show you could probably write fic about - there is a *reason* why Sawyer/Sayid fic is one of the main slash pairings in the archives - but the show itself likes fucking things up and putting in weird plot twists that you never thought you'd see coming to the extent that I just don't feel the need for fic from it.
Due South and Good Omens are, as ever, chugging along and producing scads of beauteous fic.
Smallville is slowing down. Partially, as far as I can gather, because nobody wants to even write about the recent season - it's all futurefic and AUs coming out of there.
House is producing... well... it's mostly 60% mediocre, 30% bleach the brain, and 10% good. Dammit.
