Icons to represent ourselves
Apr. 28th, 2005 02:32 amWas thinking this. I mean, I save lots of icons from other people's offerings in many fandoms. And then, of course, you pick from those to upload for use.
So.... I was thinking. Sometimes the icon is because it's, well, pretty. Or snarky. But I noticed a trend. Because seriously, Saffron isn't necessarily my fave character in Firefly, it's just that she seems to be my automatic choice of representative character. Like I chose Rodney for SG-Atlantis. And Jack for Lost. (much more of a Sawyer girl)
Anyone else noticed a trend?
Oh, and was checking out Ivor Novello bios in an attempt to kick-start my Gosford Park fic. And discovered something rather impressive. He had a relationship with Bobby Andrews for *35 years*. From the time he was about 23 and Andrews was 21. There were a couple of affairs in there, but 35 years is damn impressive. Now I want piccies of Andrews to see if he's as gorgeous as Novello.
