Contemplating going to see Kung Fu Hustle tonight as it's the last week in my cinema. Only real problem is that it's the 10pm showing and thus would have to stick around in town for four hours. Oh well, shall decide on way home and see how feel.

As have bugger all to do tomorrow, aside from dealing with moaning and cursing postie (you should've heard him the last time HP came out) think will go Camden to look for interesting and cheap knee-length skirts. These have become ridiculously essential in this heat - almost every girl you see coming from the tube at Regents' Park is wearing 'em. And then NPG for new exhibition. Or possibly go ticket booth and see what's on for matinee cheap. [livejournal.com profile] andromakie is bad for me. Wanna go see Producers, Guys and Dolls again, and Billy Elliot. Hrrm.

Sunday afternoon/evening is Cardiff to see Maritza with parentals. (Fado singer, check the folk/classical section) I anticipate lots of emotion and strutting about.

There should be rules about road-testing shoes at the factory. If you can't walk for more than ten minutes in them without pain, these are not to leave the design stage. Seriously. I have gorgeous wedges/espradilles, they were wondrous in the shop, yesterday I got off the tube at Regent's park, and after almost exactly ten minutes was hobbling in pain as the same straps at the front on each shoe (many cute rope-like straps of leather and hemp) had cut into my feet and I now have lines of blisters along said areas. Barefoot the rest of the way. Once I was at tilehurst station on the way home, I walked the mile. Think they're going to be resigned to clubbing/going out, where I don't have to walk more than five minutes at a time in them.

contemplating Kung Fu Hustle some more. Also wearing Gryffindor cheerleader outfit all tomorrow.

And having had 'children of god' from Disney's The Hunchback of notre Dame in my head all lunch, have decided need to track ST down. ooooo, new Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis up for download tonight. :salivates:
