moving in

Have basically moved in. Still got a bunch of sewing gear and all the cds 'n' dvds to get here, (yay, another taxi trip, methinks - think I'll do it later this week or next week) but after most everything has been packed away, it turns out there is plenty of under the bed space for the cd and dvd racks. or possibly the corner of the room. and there's plenty of on-top-of-wardrobe for cloth bags. Mind you, shelving is a serious consideration as have nowhere to put books and random bits. Also definitely need mirror. Hello ikea again, methinks.

Of course, now that I've unpacked everything, I immediately found three items of clothing that're immediately destined for ebay or charity shops. Cue an 'arrrgh, that would've been one less thing to pack!' cry.

Went Sloopy, Andy and Chewie's housewarming. Mmm. nice house, just way out in Elstree - which is good for them job-wise though. was fun. Lazed around, watched bits of Back to the Future, Shogun Assassin (aka damn I want that pram), in the morning we watched cartoons and Lois and Clark (no, really not much difference in storyline/acting/scripts)

And as I have no food due to using it up on purpose I'm going to find takeaway.
