I appear to be in a food mood

I've been inspecting my single cookbook, actually doing stuff out of it (and then concluding after cooking the prawn chilli spaghetti thing that they clearly have no tolerance for chilli and garlic - you're not supposed to only taste it when you get a chunk in your mouth), and actually buying stuff for recipes as opposed to my usual mechanical (spinach tomatoes olives feta bacon peppers eggs pesto pasta) shopping list. oh, and I think my seafood consumption has quadrupled. Three meals of it this week planned, so far.
Also, tonight, I finally succumbed to trying what others regard as comfort food since childhood. Bread + honey was tried first, then later, tried the chilli peanut paste
jamjar got for me on bread. Huh. Interesting. Think I might be stirring the peanut paste into prawns or chicken sometime. (re : the honey. I *always* have honey in the cupboard for when I get ill. Practically the only thing I use it for.)
