writing, nano, expo, general shite
Oct. 27th, 2006 01:15 pmLondon expo tomorrow. Debating whether to go Sunday, because Joe Flanigan talk. But OTOH, It looks like it's only a 15-minuter. Meh.
Hot Fuzz stand. GUH.
:muses: what to get Brian Bolland and Adam Hughes to draw... what to get my sketch as.... Does one get them to draw something they're familiar with, say, Black Canary, or increase the collection of Jenny Sparks? And does one go *dressed* as Jenny Sparks again? Aside from the fact that it'll almost certainly be too cold to wear my white trews. Mind you, if there's Daleks, there's a high chance of getting mistaken for Rose again.
Ah, money I don't have to spend. Happy days.
Had that flist clearing moment again. Specifically, the groups. Realised that I've been skating over nearly all the supernatural fic, most of it's doubled/tripled due to cross-posting, etc, etc. I love the show, it's just most of the fic seems to be repeats and I'm not actually that interested in codas/missing scenes. Maybe all the possible filler/pre-story fic ideas have been and gone already. Not to mention it's November in a few days and all computer time will be focussed on writing like a mad thing.
I'm still wondering what the hell possessed me to write Cinderella. As with many things in life, this can be blamed on John Barrowman. Reminds me, need to make some![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
darkisrising icons for it - Some John for Prince Charming/Jack, need to decide who the hell I'm picturing when it's Dandini, and who for Ellie (call her Cinders and *die*, it's not her fault the forge needs tidying occasionally). Need to make more notes, too. Have no bloody idea what I'm going to do with the Ugly Stepsisters, aside from making them non-panto villains. Suppose shall see. Any idea who for Dandini and Ellie? (understand that Ellie is a smith's daughter. Delicate types need not apply.)
...And I still need to go to IKEA for shelves. And buy a laptop. Gah.
