Right, thursday was meg's birthday, where silliness happened - (you know who you are). Also, everybody, I found another male that exists in fandom!

Yesterday, slept until 1pm, went frost fair outside globe, where pressies were picked up. also a rather cool procession of lanterns - lots of birds, singing of twelve days of xmas by midgets in procession - which I didn't get until I saw the five gold ring lanterns. and then went 'oh, cool', because first bird had had these green pear-shaped lanterns behind it and it suddenly made *sense*.

Got to go down Fopp and Waterstones for more present buying. Have to post stuff on monday, this turns out...

Went borough market, rang parents to say garlic farm was there, and instantly got a 'oooooo! please buy this, this and this.' jamjar forgot her wallet, so I was buying things like whole hares.

Going parents this evening to prepare for tomorrow's Feeding of the Five Thousand, aka the neighbourhood pre-christmas bash. Our neighbours are gannets and can consume entire Waitroses in one go, especially if nibbles, indonesian chicken or chocolate mousse is involved.

Will miss Hogfather. :grumble: As it's JB's xmas concert on monday, will also miss second part, so will have to torrent or get the repeat. Also missing torchwood and must wait for torrent/repeat. dammit. and won't get to see til tuesday.
