weekend of lazy and sleep

This weekend has been spent catching up on sleep. Admittedly this was mildly helped by me having another nap due to headache this evening.

Missed out on yet *another* RAF coat - this time by 50p. :grumble: Dammit, what happened to those non-eagle-eyed bidders who take their eyes off the ball in the last five minutes? She out-bid me with 2 fricking seconds to go.

Spent day doing bugger all and feeling vaguely queasy - okay, I did laundry and cleaned the kitchen and wandered down to Argos to check out shelf prices, where I met Andy, who laughed at my inability to find shelving in the catalogue.

Read fic. Cut nails. Broke a mug yesterday. Bought Daily Mail for what I hope is the last time. (They had Doctor Zhivago, Keira Knightley version, on dvd with it - curious as didn't watch it when it was on tv, there being something on the other side at the time.)

System at work not working. or rather, working for 30 secs at a time out of every five minutes, which means have got grand total of 6 articles done this afternoon.

Undoubtedly annoying everyone by random bits of tapping out beat with foot. Got temp going 'Did you just say FUBAR'd?' Me : 'They frown on me saying the full version. It could be worse, I could start commenting about the fact that workflow appear to have screwed the pooch.' Next up, Farscape and BSG-isms.

Read a bit of fanfic, only the stuff that's left is all porn, so can't read that.

Some bastard left the coffee machine over the weekend, so there was a burnt congealed mess in the pot this morning. Yet they had remembered to remove the old filter. Bastards. And for some reason, we're running out of milk again - even though we have no new people and there's been an increase in the milk order. Suspect people of having illegal cereal. (the rule at work is 'you want cereal, provide your own milk')
