Jun. 23rd, 2007 01:00 amHave watched Hot Fuzz. Finally. (kept being thwarted all week)
Am of the opinion that it is v. funny, has great action sequences, gorgeous camerawork and photography, and so regularly has moments of genius you get whiplash from one moment to the next.
However, I like Shaun of the Dead better.
And I DON'T CARE if it is traditional buddy cop film staple, I do not want to see Nick Frost and Simon Pegg's characters being that slashy. They're not pretty enough.
It's also at times like this I need to go re-read this, which is a Due South/Hot Fuzz crossover, where someone else appreciates the proper paperwork.
