:snerrrrk:
Nov. 14th, 2008 12:03 pmnano : about 29k ...I think. Somehow managed to get the opinion and paranoia of the more cautious narnians into a completely random section of the lead-up to the revels. (this happened with another bit I'd planned to deal with later - it suddenly cropped up in the middle of something else entirely) Still to actually *write* the revels, but since I'm at work, I think I may be writing some of the collective telmarine scream come lunchtime.
I can has a vest with the logo of the yogurt place from Chuck on it. Fear my random corporate logos. Admittedly it's for a costume but *still*.
For those of the flist of the theatre addict persuasion : it appears Gareth Gates is playing Prince Charming in Cinderella at the New Wimbledon this christmas.
:cue frantic coughing: Um, isn't Charming supposed to be at least slightly manly? I'd've always thought he was more of a Buttons or possibly a slightly naive Dandini. (hmm. speaking of ex-pop idol contestants, i would seriously pay good money to see Will Young playing Prince Charming. he's done theatre. i'm sure we could bully him into panto between albums.) And it doesn't help that the last time I saw him, he was playing the role of Cinders in a gay production of it.
Um. Now I'm wondering when he got cast in this. Because if it was *post* the Stiles and Drewe thing (which he clearly did as a tryout/exposure for other lines of work) I'm *really* going to start laughing. He was pretty convincing in the Cinders role, casting directors, but doing a good Cinders is not the same as doing a good job as Prince Charming...
Just came back from getting some cash and tub of glucose injection for the troops. How to prove I live in Britain : it's t-shirt weather out there. Sunny, gorgeous blue skies. In the middle of November when it was fucking freezing not two days ago. Yeah. We sneer at your 'climate'. *We* have *weather*. It's far superior and can actually be reliably used as a conversation topic.
