shit happens

Andy Hallett's died. heart disease caused by drink finally caught up with him. Shit. Such a waste.

Only knew him through cons, but anyone who was a con addict during the Angel days can probably remember him going from 'cheerful, liked his drink' to the jokes made at one con 'Sorry this is running late, Andy tripped and fell into a minibar' (when the entire con laughs knowingly, you know it's got a bit notorious) to drunk and seriously painful to watch - and we got the stories on the first heart problems and having to be hauled out by Dayne from Dayne *and* him.

watched first ep of The Wire. Interesting. Didn't grab me immediately, but interested enough that I'll give it a try. Course, given that they're showing it every sodding night means I'll miss some (and given the late hour, ouch) which means that snowballjane may be getting some subtle coughing directed her way. Also experiencing 'it's that guy' syndrome with half the cast. Especially one of the detectives, who I checked on imdb and went 'someone's cornered the market in cops and FBI agents...'

Found Brunswick centre. Result : lunch, 3 dark eggs, a pair of cropped jogging bottoms (leggings... not great) and a Gizmo t-shirt.
