burntcopperDid usual - post office when pissing down, laundry that had to be hung up in bathroom due to weather rather than outside, driving lesson, job app. Though the job app was interesting. Was looking at the 'desirable' section and going 'aargh' when I suddenly realised that yes, I have written for new media, I have written for a non-specialist audience, and I have oodles of experience with managing the work of freelance writers. I've been doing it for years. Heh. Probably won't get the job, but I now have a new skill.
The Sentinel is gradually getting ever-so-slightly slashier as it goes along. Jim gets affected by a girl's hormones, Blair's pouting ever-so-slightly with a look of "What am I, chopped liver?". Also had Jim coming in and stripping off as he walked through the house, with Blair coming to stare at him as he did so.
Also, you know that 'girl of ep must be love interest of ep' thing I was ranting about last week? They managed not to do it last ep. Amazed am I. Fed came in, Jim tried his hardest to avoid her, they didn't like each other, and only grudgingly got along for the case and resolved that a bit once she'd resolved a couple of issues. Blair dated a girl to get info on her father, felt terribly guilty when she wanted to sleep with him even though he liked her, and... she had a personality! A normal person's personality! Hallelujah!
In other news, The Shield is back on Five for a new season and I am a happy, happy bunny. :sighs happily:
