burntcopperI have the job. £4.50/h, not great, but seem like nice blokes, understanding about flexible rota, (the fact that there's 3 weekends in November I'm not going to be there), I've got a 6-month trial, and am in need of new black trousers. Start Wednesday.
You know that thing where they ask 'any more questions' at the end of the interview and you can never think of any? Bloke also said that he'd probably forgotten some, and when he rang up 20 mins ago, he said
'Hi, it's Steve from Jessops, and there was a question I forgot to ask you - do you have a problem with working in an all-male environment?'
My response : 'Errrr.... Why would I?'
Him : 'Great, just checking. You and your bovver boots've got the job. (this is due to a question about footwear regs - the only non-open-toed non-heeled shoes that I possess are combat boots) Just be warned we're a bunch of lecherous sods.'
Money! Money! Non-boredom! Whee!
Oh, and SFX? Why are you publishing spoiler zone stuff on Dead Like Me when I can't find it in the Radio Times? [Radio Times - radio and tv listings for the UK] Wanna seeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
