burntcopperJust had a call from my aunt Judith. My gran just died. Not my mum's mum, the one who'd been sick for a while. My dad's mum. Who was healthy as a horse and very, very fit. She hadn't turned up to see her friend this morning, and her friend tried ringing, then got on the phone to Judith, who had a key, they found the milk hadn't been collected, went in and found her upstairs. It looks like she had a heart attack in her sleep or something. Oh fuck. And I can't stop crying. Ella died earlier this year, and Grandad the year before, but we were expecting them as they were seriously ill. Grandma... oh christ.
