My problem with Eowyn is strictly filmverse and is with the fact that [in TTT at least, not seen ROTK yet] they took Eowyn's grief and sadness and sheer despair and turned it into little more than a "w00t! grrl power!!!1" moment. Instead of being a character I completely felt and got, on-screen Eowyn became little more than the Anti-Arwen.
