Beats me, wasn't really aware of it. All I know is it's been a long time since I last read LotR but I recall them both favourably. Eowyn's film portrayal meshes well with my memory, Faramir's less so. Eowyn also almost induces another of my rants about heroes with no taste but that's a rant already been oft-heard so I'll leave it be...
