Ah well - product of a different time, I suppose. Personally I thought the troll's underground lair sounded brilliant (and I rather suspect Hans did too, before he remembered he was supposed to be disapproving of it). Anyway, it's all very complex and interesting, and I fear I may now be compelled to explore it through the medium of fic. :)
