Don't wanna play with those toys anymore

Falling out of love with a fandom. Happens to us all, when you lose interest, or you just aren't *as* involved anymore... Well, it's happened with Angel. Possibly because I haven't been receiving the latest eps recently, but even so, I stopped reading the fic several months back. Regularly, that is. If I see something that looks really interesting, or involves hot Wes/Gunn, sure I'll read it. Gimme gimme. But otherwise, I just can't be arsed, as I just don't care. I still go to conventions, and revel in the fan hive mind, and the squee, and the mad, bad people and the parties and the actors, but the fic has lost interest almost totally. In that I doubt I'll be updating the sites that much anymore. Yesterday I deleted most of my Ats/Btvs pic folders, as I went 'pretty, but when the hell am I ever going to use them?' That statement is normally the death knell for anything sitting around in my life. It normally happens to clothes, or comics, or general junk, but it occasionally happens to computer files too.

Sorry, been distracted last few weeks, what with sister's wedding and all. Just got 5x21 last night, shall be off to you RSN.

Nonetheless, my interest is waning too and I think that's one of the reasons I'm not too distressed about Angel's cancellation: it's past it's best by date (I'd argue that it's never been as good as it was mid-late season 2 with Ruthless Angel) but is still reasonable so this season's a pretty good point to end it.
