burntcopperSqueeeeeeeeeeeeee! So, so much cooler than Chamber of Secrets.
Much, much darker in tone and visuals - even murky in places. Gary Oldman and David Thewlis were faboo, and terribly slashy. :g:
I take back all I said about Tom Felton's hair from the trailer. It's very Draco and suits him. Plus, the lad's got terribly tall. Also something you can say for Neville - the actor came on screen, and I went "What happened to Neville?" he's no longer small and chubby, he's gotten lanky. But endearingly gawky. Mmm, Padma and Parvati :leers:
Heh. Ron and Hermione, the screenwriters' OTP.... I am so loving the bits where Hermione automatically grabs for Ron, and then they realise they have and... :dies from the cute: Plus, the bit where Ron gets bitten? Me and Sue went "Ron, you are *so* trying it on.' The discussion in the lift up to the car park included a moment where all the girls pointed out 'John, Hermione likes Harry but fancies Ron. Rather obviously.'
We loves the Knight bus. And the Dursleys, and the Leaky Cauldron and Hermione and Ron arguing about Scabbers and Crookshanks.
Dear god Timothy Spall suits Peter Pettigrew, even though I always pictured him as smaller and weedier. Also, yay for the Minister for Magic. Twit! Twit! Stupid fucking twit! :pouts slightly over the fact that we got very little Filch:
We hugs the Emma Thompson, yes we does. Especially when she's tripping over tables and telling Hermione she's just not suited to Divination. Also whiplash from seeing Julie Christie as the landlady of the pub in Hogsmeade.
Mmm, pretty visuals of the Scottish landscape, which really places it. Nice touch. I wanna ride the Buckbeak!
Dementors fucking scary. Really fucking scary.

There were two bits they missed out that would've made certain moments make more sense - should've pointed out that Snape was making the wolfsbane potion for Lupin, which is why he hasn't been turning into a werewolf these past months, and that the reason Lupin knows how the map works? He's Moony. Am a tad pouty that we never had any decent Snape/Lupin scenes because of cuts, partly because they're my book!Snape OTP.
But me is very happy, and will happily go see again. And watch Hermione punch Draco again.
