In other unrelated news, I'm appealing to the Blood Donor association : do not send new cards in envelopes that look just like 'you haven't paid your bills'. Looked and went 'but.. but... I'm sure I haven't...' Opening, familiar blood donor headed paper and a bronze card (10-24). Phew.

I must admit my heart dived when it was obvious we were heading for penalities. Lampard did do well to pull a goal back, and my hopes were lifted slightly.

However, as soon as Becks missed (by a mile) that opening penalty I knew it was over. My own journal comment is a little more agressive!
