Also, because I am a massive loser, there are a few real people, too. Major-General James Wolfe. 'Cuz. Oh, how I heart him so. Everyone thought he was crazy. Until he won Quebec and Louisbourg for the British.
And Major Scott, but that's mainly the version of him I'm writing in the French and Indian War novel, since you get only a bit of info about him with the seige of Louisbourg and his Provisional Light Infantry, but that just leaves a lot of room for me to play around, and I heart my creation so very very much. He is snarky and has common sense and has cool ideas. The last part actually is historically true, but oh. How I adore him.
