This coming week...

I will mostly be in Falmouth. And if not there, St Ives, or elsewhere in Cornwall. Going tomorrow lunchtime for a week with the parentals. Hopefully shall have just missed Freshers', fingers crossed. And yes we do have web access. This family gets withdrawal symptoms if away from a computer for more than a weekend.

Spent most of today doing job applications in preparation - ie all the ones that have to be in before I get back. Why all museums have to have application forms rather than taking CVs and covering letters I don't know. Hand hurts almost as bad as if I was back in History or Biology class. (Both teachers having an approach to teaching that was 20% demonstartion, 80% speed of lightning dictation for an hour at a time. Drop your pen and you were doomed)

In rest of life, cursing the fact that it's very difficult to get motivated for actual exercise beyond walking the 2 miles to the post office and back. Toning exercises for butt and legs, yes, they're working, actual getting rid of the fat... not so great. :sigh: Does anyone know any toning exercises for the stuff on your hips?

Costumes : The Hocus Pocus is almost finished, (just got to bone and edge the corset with bias tape) and if I do end up re-making the skirt from a different material, it's five minutes work. Have material for Ghost, just need to cut and sew the fucker. Plus make the holsters. Oola - buy fishnet. Cut fishnet in strategic places and drape fishnet. plus, y'know, those knickers she wears. Also need to buy the makeup and setting powder from Charles Fox when I get back so I can dye, stuff and shape those tights.

Ever tried callanetics? It has some wicked hip toning moves, but you have to do about 100 reps of little movements on each side. I can lend you the video if you like.
