Back at work

burntcopperStruggled out from underneath the email. Tried to make a slight dent in the author checks. failed, but at least got some done. Had a couple of people poking me to see if I'd fall over, but Tim said at least I didn't look like the shroud was waiting round the corner anymore. (Apparently I was slurring my words and swaying as well as looking like death warmed over on thursday) Tired due to staring at computer screen and concentrating all day. Going to read fic. Yis.
Also, spent part of today listening to some mp3s someone recorded off t'telly of John in Sound of Musicals. It got to 'I am what I am' and I suddenly remembered my glee and comments to mum on saturday : 'The orchestra can't keep up with him!' However, SoM reminded me of something else : How much I hate 'Tale as old as Time' sung as a duet. Peabo Bryson's voice is over-egged, and it was Celine Dion's first englsh-language song. Carrie Grant, you have *no taste* in liking that version.
