Today I mostly slept. Apart from the middle, 12-3 which I spent in town, having had to go in to put a cheque in.

And then meandered around the clothing shops. Ostensibly to look at trousers and another pair of jeans (currently I have two pairs of jeans and a pair of leather trousers that fit me since I lost the weight, and the times you can wear leather trousers when it's cold? Not very often.), but honey, as people who know me can attest, I can window-shop like no-one's business when it comes to clothes. Browse, evaluate, try on... :happy sigh: Except. GRRR. This is a season when they don't like blondes with pale skin. Everything's in blush pink, pale brown, beige, greyish-green, faded grey-blue, greeny blue... you get the picture. Went into Morgan, (which is normally evaluate and go 'ew') looked at their colour scheme from two steps in, groaned and made a face. Shop assistant saw me, looked at my colouring and went 'well, we have some black and white....' Seriously. Would it kill you to stock some richer colours, or a colour range so portions of the populace aren't actually banned from spending money due to not wanting to look like a corpse?

i dont even look in Morgan these days...too expensive for starters and again their sizes are tiny! i could get away with their tops,but not their bottoms halves.
I have the same problem with flesh tone colours..drains my skin something terrible. only about 2%of the colours suit me.....But their better than the pastels that are around now!
what is it as soon as the idea of spring comes in the pastels come out!!.

I mostly look in morgan for amusement value at their ugly clothes and things that really need a bra - but you can't actually wear one with several of their tops. The couple of items I do own of theirs I bought off ebay.

I am SO with you on this! The colours this year are horrid. I can't even find the bluey-green, here it's baby blue, but all the others you said are the same. I cannot and will not wear these colours. I can't do earth tones, they wash me out and make me look yellow. Tans, beiges, light browns are out completely, baby colours are out, and white is out. I found a red blouse at H & M ang got so excited, but there was a stain on it, and did they have another 4 in the whole shop? Of course not! I actually went to another mall to get it! I found one bright blue jumper, and bought a black blouse (which I swore I wasn't going to do) because there was literally nothing else. And I still need some other things. C'mon people. Say it with me "jewel tones."
