I don;t have any resolutions. Resolutions are for those who actually have some hope of remembering their plans.

Spent most of 31st looking somewhere between 'deathly pale' and 'an interesting shade of grey', tucked up in bed as body wouldn't allow me to stand up. Yay 24 hour flu or whatever it was.

Evening, gradually recovered whilst watching Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest (for some reason the beeb is showing them out of order), got a bit to eat, then at 10:50 went 'sod it, I'm going out'. Advantage of falmouth is that you can actually do this at such a late hour.

Changed, applied make-up and ended up in The Grapes ringing in the New Year with amongst others, a bunch of Oompa-Loompas, a daggett and a pole-dancing cavegirl. A very silly and cheerful time. And It's now very sunny.

Falmouth again? Is there a nuclear-powered Heather-magnet buried under the crust there, or something?

Anyhow, Happy New Decade, and I’m glad you felt better in time to get some celebrating in! The restorative powers of Johnny Depp know no bounds…

I said to someone else the other evening how weird it was they were showing Pirates out of order.

Glad you improved from pale and grey :)

Falmouth or Reading. One has pubs and shops within staggering distance at New Year...

I've always found that anything involving a pole dancing cave girl is good. New Years, Birthdays, Babtisms, anything.

yes, but the daggett was later seen pole-dancing too. Do you need the bleach too?

I've discovered that a self lobotomy with an icepick is the only real way to forget these disturbing images.
