This is interesting to me. We have snow shovel and I've been carrying the cold weather kit in the boot of the car since November - welly boots, blanket, corrugated cardboard, grit, shovel and de-icer and scraper mitt (it's pink). It's just a facet of life. On the other hand, this is the 19th day of snow for me. The main roads are clear for the buses but the side roads have been abandoned to ensure arteries are kept open. I'm now worried about powercuts and food shortages because this is exceptional.
