I managed to lose a phone by leaving it on the car roof when loading the car at Tesco, and then driving 40+ miles home. Twice.
Mind you, I didn't get charged an excess, but those were Nokia 6210s, not the Sony Eriksson P900 I go for these days. Still, perhaps vodka is counted as more stupid?
